Coming out together with the new Spring10 collection, the French brand KULTE is also launching a 64 pages printed magazine, named KULTORAMA, and today available in all good fashion boutiques. Design by Julien Roques, under the art direction of Mothi Limbu, the mag presents all the latest projects of the brand, next to their fashion pages, shot by the photographer James Reeve. Kultorama is a free magazine.

E.V. Day, Bride Fight, 2005, two bridal gowns, veils, gloves, fishing line, hardware, 26 x 16 x 13 feet To celebrate the New York City Opera’s 2009-10 season and the company’s return to the newly renovated David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, City Opera and Deitch Projects will present a site-specific installation by artist E.V. Day in the theater’s Promenade. A series of dynamic sculptures made from a selection of vintage City Opera costumes and costume accessories will be dramatically suspended overhead in exuberant simulated motion. On view beginning November 5, the installation will remain in place throughout City Opera’s fall and spring seasons.

A collection of pixelated jewelry by Mike and Maaike. Notes about “Stolen Jewels” by the creators:
An exploration of tangible vs. virtual in relation to real and perceived value. Using Google image search, we browsed through some of the most expensive and often famous jewelry in the world, the low-res images we found were stolen, doctored, then transferred to leather, creating a tangible new incarnation. With the expense and intricacy of the jewels stripped away, their essence and visual intensity are extracted. Link via Scene 360 Illusion
