UK based design firm Spin recently asked major figures in design what are the top books every designer should read. 50 designers old and new from Wolfgang Weingart to Peter Saville made a contribution outlining the books that had the most influence on them. The result is a broadsheet format listing of an eclectic 500 books from Cat In the Hat by Dr Zeus to Typographica. The paper is available for $5 which is a small price to pay for such a comprehensive list of information. A must for any practicing or aspiring designer.

Just a lot of things, involving books I want to read, going on in places I can’t get to.
Whatever world, I get it, my birthday month is over.

Following on from yesterday’s Deuce post about the work they have recently completed for Ballast Point Park in Sydney, I thought I would take a few shots of the book they also produced for the project. More images over on my Flickr. And thanks to Sophie at Deuce for sending me out a copy.
